It is based on the footwear icon 875 Moc Toe, which was extremely popular with American farmers and hunters in the 1950s. The unique and high-quality dark red Oxblood Mesa leather in combination with beige roughout leg piping and with the bronze hardware intensifies the authentic look and feel of the boot. The Traction Tred soles keep feet warm and safe during winter. Red Wings are partially handcrafted, emphasizing our focus on detail and durability. We offer this style in a large variety of colorways. A small sidenote: The word Moc Toe is derived from the term „Moccasin“, which means „sole“ in the language of the Algonquins.
