The TANKER RUCKSACK in black by Porter Yoshida & Co. is an absolute key piece in the Tanker collection. A classic backpack that is highly robust and extremely practical. The bag is made of a three-layer construction, which consists of the typical nylon twill on the outside, polyester cotton lining and nylon taffeta on the inside. This ensures the contents to be optimally protected from any weather condition and it provides sufficient padding. The large main compartment can be closed with a drawstring fastener and a flap with buckle. There is also a separate zippered compartment inside to keep all relevant gadgets extra protected. Another practical feature is the zipper on the side wall, which allows easy access to the inside of the main compartment. Last but not least, there are two patch pockets on the front, which offer perfect storage space for smaller items such as keys or a wallet. The carrying handle on the top and the padded straps round off the TANKER RUCKSACK both visually and functionally.

The TANKER series from Porter has been around since 1983 and uses only the fabric that was originally developed for the US Air Force flight jacket MA-1. This very special fabric is water-repellent, lightweight and very robust. Perfect for everyday wear in the city. As with all items in the TANKER series, the inner lining is kept in safety orange, as it is usual with bomber jackets.

Traditionally, Porter pays the utmost attention to workmanship and quality. Each bag is individually made by a worker in the company's own sewing workshop in Tokyo.
