LIMITED EDITION! Following the release of the 9111 & 8167 Round Toes, we are thrilled to welcome another version of this iconic model to our collection for a limited time: The legendary 8165 Round Toe in Black Chrome leather. This model, which hasn’t been available in Europe for over 15 years and until now has only been part of the Japanese Red Wing collection, is now making its way into our stores as a Red Wing Shoe Store Exclusive.
The Black Chrome leather, which is dyed completely black throughout, is characterized by its exceptional durability and high level of shine. Especially after a few years of wear, this type of leather develops an incomparable patina.
This model, which was launched by the Red Wing Shoe Company in the 1950s, established itself in our European Red Wing Heritage collection in the late 2000s before being replaced by the Rover in 2018. Now that the Rover also disappeared from the lineup a few years ago, and given the steady demand for this silhouette and its growing fan base, we are now adding another Round Toe style in the classic Black Chrome leather, which has already been used on true staple styles such as the 2268 Steel Toe Engineer or the 8130 Moc Toe.
The 8165 Round Toe is crafted on the classic 8-last, which we know from models like the Iron Ranger or Blacksmith.The outsole features the proven white Traction Tred.
