LIMITED EDITION! Following the release of the 9111 Roundtoe, we are delighted to welcome another limited edition version of this iconic model to our collection. The legendary 8167 Roundtoe in Hawthorne Abilene Roughout leather. Previously, this model was only available in Japan, but it is now making its way to the European Red Wing Shoe Stores for a short period of time.
This style, which was developed by the Red Wing Shoe Company back in the 1950s, established itself in our European Red Wing Heritage collection in the late 2000s before being replaced by the Rover in 2018. Now that the Rover has also disappeared from the range a few years ago and demand for this silhouette has remained steady, with a large fan base gathering around it, we are now adding another Roundtoe. This time in beautiful Hawthorne Abilene roughout leather, which, like our smooth finished leathers, is made from the full thickness of a bullhide. This ensures durability, high resistance, and breathability.
The 8167 Round Toe is made on the classic last no. 8, which we know from the Iron Ranger and Blacksmith, for example. The proven Traction Tred in white is used as the outsole.
