The 3609 Shop Moc Oxford in Dusty Rose Abilene roughout leather is now part of our women's collection.
Following the successful release of the low Moc Toe in our men's collection some time ago, we are finally offering this silhouette for women too. Back in the mid-1950s, the Red Wing Shoe Company developed a flat moc toe under style number 895, laying the foundation for this beautiful model. Despite the significantly lower shaft height, the Shop Moc Oxford does not compromise on any of the essential features of a classic Moc Toe. The comfortable and insulating Traction Tred sole is attached to the upper using the Goodyear welting process, and the Puritan stitch on the side gives the shoe sufficient stability and robustness thanks to its triple stitching. The light pink tone of the Dusty Rose Abilene suede, which we know from the 3319 Moc Toe, goes perfectly with any outfit and will develop a unique patina over the years. Furthermore it is naturally water resistant. Lastly, this colorway also adds a fresh and summery touch!
The Red Wing Heritage Women's Collection uses softer leather, is lighter in weight, and has a fit optimized for women's feet through the use of different lasts with more feminine proportions. These attributes, paired with the usual Red Wing quality and durability, form the basis of our women's collection.
