The 2949 Roughneck is the inherent part of the Classic Moc Toe Collection, which appeals to the outdoor aficionados. The Roughneck is the only Moc Toe Style with the Vibram Lug Sole, with a prominent tread for maximum grip. The 2949 is the ideal partner for walks through the forest or through the concrete jungle. Your feet stay dry and you’ll be walking safe in any weather. It is based on the footwear icon 875 Moc Toe, which was extremely popular with American farmers and hunters in the 1950s. The Black Oil Slick leather compliments every outfit and comes with a visible texture. Red Wings are partially handcrafted, emphasizing the focus on detail. We offer this style in a large variety of colorways with the white insulating Traction Tred sole. A small side note: The word Moc Toe is derived from the term „Moccasin“, which means „sole“ in the language of the Algonquins.
