The light brown Red Wing Iron Ranger 3338, crafted from the absolutely iconic Oro-Legacy leather, is part of the Core Series in the Women’s Collection. Here, we’ve paired one of our most popular leathers, the Oro-Legacy, which you’ll recognize from the legendary 3375 Moc Toe, with one of our most classic silhouettes: the Iron Ranger! Without a doubt, the Iron Ranger is one of the most popular styles for both women and men. A shoe with high recognition value and countless styling possibilities, packed with a whole lot of Red Wing DNA! The shoe’s name traces back to the residents of the Mesabi Iron Range in northern Minnesota. Decades ago, miners needed a shoe that could withstand the harsh conditions of working there. The toe cap, reinforced with extra leather, and the engineered heel construction were already designed to withstand the most adverse conditions back then. The women’s version of this model has a sleeker look and is built on a Vibram 430 Mini-Lug sole, which provides better traction.

The Red Wing Heritage Women’s Collection uses slightly softer leather, is lighter in weight, and features a fit optimized for women’s feet thanks to the use of lasts with more feminine proportions. These attributes, combined with Red Wing’s signature quality and durability, form the foundation of our women’s collection.
