RED WING Porter Moc 3498
The Red Wing Porter Moc Toe 3498 impresses with its classic Moc Toe construction, which is combined with a black & relatively high Red Wing “XL Extralight” outsole. This sole offers an enormously high level of traction and stability, but also impresses with its low weight and strong cushioning. An ideal combination for rainy or snowy fall and winter days. The 3498 uses the iconic Copper Rough and Tough leather for the upper. We are already familiar with Copper Rough & Tough from e.g. the 3362 Silversmith or 3428 Moc Toe and can say with certainty that this leather has great potential. The slightly mottled look and the high oil content of the leather will quickly develop a strong and beautiful patina. The 3498 is visually rounded off by its rose gold-colored eyelets.
This shoe is built on the 105 last, which is a narrower and more feminine interpretation of the men’s Moc Toe last. The filigree look and the smaller eyelets make the shoe appear slimmer. The comfortable sole is made from a light polyurethane that is nevertheless durable and extremely flexible.
This style is also available in black as style 3497.
The Red Wing Heritage Women's Collection in general offers a softer leather, a reduced weight, a cushioned insole, a slimmer and more comfortable fit formed using different lasts, and more feminine proportions.
