The 8863 Moc Toe in stylish Slate Muleskinner leather is the newest addition to the Classic Moc Toe Collection. It is based on the footwear icon 875 Moc Toe, which was extremely popular with American farmers and hunters in the 1950s. It's striking, with a prominent Moccasin seam, a white insulating Traction Tred Sole, Good Year-Construction, and beautiful grey Slate Muleskinner Rough Out leather. This leather type absorbs superficial dirt and incorporates it into a beautiful patina.  This colorway looks especially amazing with wear and tear. Red Wings are partially handcrafted, which emphasizes the focus on detail and durability. We offer this style in a large variety of colorways. A small side note: The word Moc Toe is derived from the term „Moccasin“, which means „sole“ in the language of the Algonquins.
